Huaxin Cement Nepal has provided emergency medical assitance to Bagmati Province as the support to fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
The Chinese company that is constructing a cement factory at Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality in Dhading, has donated 8 oxygen concentrators and 500 antigen kits.
The representatives of the company handed over the equipment to Saraswati Basnet, the minister of Social Development in the province.
Company representatives informed Janadesh that they also have donated 36 oxygen cylinders to Siddalakh, Gajuri and Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality in Dhading.
Last year the company had donated medical supplies amounting more than NRs 50 lakhs to district administration office and various rural municipalities in Dhading.
“We are trying to assit government in the fight against pandemic and such helps and cooperation would continue”, said Dilliraj Pokharel, the deputy GM of Huaxin Nepal.
The company has faced serious setbacks because of various natural disasters. The construction process of the factory has been seriously impacted because of the corona pandemic and lockdown situations.
